Pack 3894 plays host to District Sports & Outdoor Skills (SOS) Day


Fort Dearborn District Cub Scout Sports & Outdoor Skills (SOS) Day
Date: Sunday, February 12th    Time: 1 pm to 4 pm ( Check in 12:30am)
Cost: $7 per Scout ( Same Day Registration $10  – First come , First Serve)

Location: Queen of Angels Gym 4412 N. Western Ave.

Pack 3894 plays host to this new District ( Half of the Scouting Units on the north side) Event. Essentially for 4 hours and $7 your Scout will get the chance to earn up to 6 belt loops in some sports and outdoor activities listed below. We plan on having them in snowshoes outside while learning team building with klondike sleds, they will also learn teamwork inside a volleyball court. Help us make a big presence in front of other Packs in our district by attending this event!
We are capping the registration at 120 Scouts, first come first serve basis. So please Register online at the link below.

Scouts will learn outdoor winter skills, compete in sports, and experience team building. They also have the chance to earn six belt loops or pins!
VolleyBall * Badmiton  * Hiking   *  Map & Compass   *  Chess   *  Marbles
Check-in starts at 12:30 pm at the Lower Voss Center, 4412 N. Western Ave.
The action takes place in four conveniently located venues:

Volleyball: Guild Hall/Queen of Angels Gym 4416 N. Western Ave.

Chess & Marbles: Voss Center, Upper Conference Rooms 4412 N. Western Ave.
Badminton: Queen of Angels Church, Lower Level Basement Entrance on Claremont
Hiking with Snow Shoes · Map & Compass · Ropes & Winter Camping · Cold Weather Skills · Klondike Sled/Team Building Wells Park 2333 W. Sunnyside Ave. Scouts should bring indoor gym attire and appropriate outdoor clothing (changing rooms available) & a metal water bottle for cocoa. Snacks will be available.
